Octagonal Pine Wood Bank Colonial Williamsburg Style Cape Craft Pine North Carolina c1960
A gorgeous antique reproduction wood bank from the 1960s. This Colonial Williamsburg style bank was expertly crafted of pine by Cape Craft Pine of Elizabethtown North Carolina. They went out of business in the 1970s. The produced beautiful reproduction Colonial pieces.
The bank measures 8" long, 4 1/4" tall and has a 3 1/4" depth. The tag is no longer attached to the base but you will receive it with your purchase. You can see where it was stapled on the bottom.
This vintage wood bank is in Very Good Condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs to the wood. We see a few faint marks on the wood which looks like something white brushed against it. We did not try to remove or scrub because the finish is otherwise clean especially for it's age. The interesting part about the bank is that there is no way to access any money you put inside. The bottom pedestal unscrews off and possibly there is an opening or stopper under there that I can not see, but I do not think so. So if you purchase it, purchase it knowing what goes in may never come out LOL....

Estate Nickel Silver Trimmed Drinking Cow Horn w Hanging Chain Russia c1950s Great Southwestern Western Rustic Wall Decor
Estate Nickel Silver trimmed Drinking Cow Horn from Russia c1950s. A great piece for your rustic or southwestern decor. This piece has several marks that we could not decipher other than to see that the letters I could make out were Russian. Prior owner came to US from area near Belgrade.
The horn is from cow and the chased metalwork is nickel silver. Nickel silver has a lower silver content than sterling silver and is mixed with other alloys such as nickel.
This drinking horn measures 9 1/4" long with a 2 1/4" opening. It will look great with any of your primitive or rustic decors. We also like this mixed in with your western and southwestern decors.
Very good condition with no chips or cracks to the horn. The nickel silver shows light patina. We only did a hand polishing.
This is a great little collectible for display in your home or his man cave.
